Supplying Print Ready Artwork
The artwork for Supacolour transfers strictly needs to be Supplied in a Vector Format, we recommend supplying in .eps, or it can be supplied in a PDF if correctly compiled.
Here are some tips for getting the best artwork created for your transfers to be printed the best they can be.
- CMYK strongly recommended (RGB will be converted)
- Optional: Pantone (PMS colorbook codes only)
- Convert fonts to outlines
- Convert strokes to objects
- Embed any linked images
- Save as .eps (also acceptable: .ai, pdf(Vector File))
What is Supacolour?
Supacolour is a high quality transfer that utilizes the latest technology to digitally reproduce your logo or design. Using traditional screen printing techniques to add the fixing (glue). The Process is a proprietary technology owned by Supacolour. Whilst there are many competitors that are trying to copy the process we are yet to see anything that comes close to the quality of Supacolour transfer – A High Resolution transfer with a wide colour gamut that is Eco Friendly and Durable.

Supacolour is a great option for printing onto Polyester T Shirts and Apparel, there is a minimum of 20+ and Volume Discounts do apply for 50+, 100+ and 200+.
Supacolour is available in a range of pre-set sizes (see Table- located to the left of screen). Pricing is dependent on the size of the transfer that required, when asking for a quote is it best to advise the transfer size required, print positioning (eg: Chest Print, Front PRINT, BACK PRINT).

How fast can I have my apparel printed?
Supacolour transfers are manufactured in New Zealand and sent to us with DHL.
Most orders placed Monday through Friday, ship to us within a few business days. Larger volumes will take longer. once we receive the transfers we will need 1-2 business days to print up your apparel – PLEASE NOTE THIS IS BASED ON OUR CURRENT WORKLOAD AT THE TIME
How long will it last
We tested Supacolour prints for over 50 washes and they still looked great.
Is Supercolour Eco Friendly?
Yes, Supacolour uses water-based inks without harsh or toxic chemicals. Transfers come on recyclable transfer paper.
How Detail can the print be?
The process prints millions of colours and gradients, allowing us to reproduce almost any artwork, no matter how complex. Fine detail as small as 1 mm tall can be rendered without requiring ugly traps or borders.
Can I get a Template for my artwork?
Yes you can, please contact us via email and we can send you the needed file.
What format does my artwork need to be supplied in?
.eps is the best format to supply your artwork in, it will need to be a vector image, pasting a Jpeg into a file and saving it as an .eps is not suitable. You can also save a vector PDF if they are prepared correctly.
What Colour Profile do I use?
Supacolour’s default print process is CMYK (actually, we run a six-colour process that gives Supacolour transfers more range in the colour spectrum). We have the ability to Pantone (PMS) colour match. All you need to do is indicate the colors when ordering.
Can I get a Proof?
Supacolour does not provide art proofs as a part of its process. The Custom T Shirt Shop will supply a Proof on request with estimated print position. All clients will be required to sign and approve of the mock-up.
What is the Cost?
Supacolour is priced based on transfer type, size and quantity. Please contact us via email with all of the details and we will be happy to supply a quote for you.
Can I set up a gang of prints on 1 sheet?
Supacolour only sell custom-printed individual transfers ready to be pressed (no ordering multiple designs on a sheet).
Are there any setup costs?
Yes, there is a setup cost associated with Supercolour.
Shipping is also not included in the price of the transfers.
Is there a Minimum Order
There is strictly a minimum order quantity of 20 pieces per design. You cannot split the minimum between multiple designs or accommodate more than one design within a print area.
Is the different charges for more colours?
No, you can print unlimited colors and gradients with Supacolour. They do not charge by the colour. The price is the same whether you print one colour or a million.
What do I do if there is a problem with my order?
Please inspect your order upon receiving it. If there is a problem, notify us immediately by emailing. Provide us with your details and the relevant information about the problem. We will work with you to get it right.
